Hiyama Honten is a concept designed for Hiyama -- a famous Sukiyaki brand.  The concept restaurant aims to create a restaurant with an experience with theme.  The theme for the design is origami, which is a traditional Japanese art form playing with paper and structure.  By applying the theme into the design, the restaurant creates a consistent visual identity and better convey a Japanese cultural feeling but with a modern and romantic interior way.

The design consist of two parts: indoor area and outdoor area.  The indoor area continues the light color of the Hiyama TST branch, giving the customers a delightful dining experience, while the outdoor area contains more colorful element -- origami umbrellas, creating a festival atmosphere especially during the night, creating a beautiful scenery for Central as a new landmark.
